Poland introduces new requirements for international road transport through its territory

? From November 1, 2024, drivers must carry a unique International Road Transport Register (RMPD) notification registration number in the electronic surveillance of transport (SENT) system, or a document that replaces it.

☝️In addition, during transportation, it is necessary to ensure the transmission of geolocation data of the vehicle, as well as to turn on the locator before the beginning of transportation. If the locator malfunctions for more than one hour, the driver must stop at the nearest parking lot.

Violation of the new requirements will result in a fine of PLN 1,500 to PLN 12,000, depending on the violation committed.
