❗New conditions for placing goods in the warehouse – from April 19, 2025

Dear colleagues!

From April 19, 2025, changes to the Customs Code of Ukraine will come into force, in particular Part 6 of Article 201 “Temporary Storage”, which relate to the requirements for providing security for the payment of customs payments when placing goods in a temporary storage warehouse (TSW) or at the facility of an enterprise with authorization to apply simplification.

What has changed:

• All goods located in TSW must be provided with a guarantee for the entire storage period
• Within 3 months from the moment the goods are placed in TSW, security (guarantee) must be provided in accordance with Section X of the Customs Code
• If TSW has authorization to apply simplification (for example, AEO status) – it can use its own guarantee provided for by the relevant conditions
